My name is Christy Perrin and I have worked as a birth doula since 2009. Originally training with Carrie Kenner from Big Belly Services of the Seattle area I acquired the skills essential to providing emotional, physical, and informational support for birthing mamas and their families. These skills have grown over the years from attending advanced doula trainings but most importantly from direct experience with each individual birth attended. I have been blessed with the opportunity to serve and support southeast Alaska families through their journeys into becoming parents, and I can say that I have found no greater passion in my life.
I am the mother of one and a lover of the outdoor activities, nature, and animals. My passions aside from birth include playing music, the study of psychology, yoga, meditation, and living with intention. I have lived in Juneau for 25 wonderful years and after completing my bachelors in psychology will be looking to attend a program in midwifery to advance my work in the birthing world.
